On the first day of 7th Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey tournament organised by Kashmir Sikh sangat under the aiges of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir , Two matches were played.
First match was played between Kathua hockey club lachipura and Air Force station Jammu in which Air Force station Jammu won the match by 9-4.

JKUT senior men hockey team was flagged off by Sh.Rajinder Singh (Former President Hockey India) , along with other members of Hockey J&K yesterday to participate in 13th Hockey India senior National men Championship 2023 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The said Championship is scheduled to be held from 17th November to 28th November 2023. JKUT Team is going to play their 1st Match on 20th Nov with Manipur.

On the 2nd day , Hockey J&K today conducted selection trials at Astro Turf Hockey Field Polo Ground Srinagar for participation in the 1st Hockey India Sub Junior (Men) North Zone Championship which is to be held at Jhansi (UP) from 1st October to 8th October 2023. Approx 55 players from different districts of Kashmir division participated in the Trials . Selected players from kashmir division will have to attend final trials in jammu on 14th & 15th of this month.. ....

In celebration of NATIONAL SPORTS DAY , Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tournament under the auspices of Hockey J&K in collaboration with JKUT Sports Council & Sponsored by 150 Inf Bn (TA) Punjab was kicked off on 22 th Aug 2023 at Polo Ground Astro Turf Hockey Field Srinagar Kashmir with an exhilarating opening match between Ganderbal and Bandipora. The Ganderbal team emerged victorious with a score of 3-1, showcasing their skills and determination on the field.
Gracing the occasion, Major General Sh. PBS Lamba (GOC) honored the event as the Chief Guest, highlighting the significance of sportsmanship and teamwork in such competitive settings. Sh. Olympics day celebration by Hockey J&k
Hockey J&K celebrated olympic day by conducting an exhibition match between Dashmesh Hockey club Nanak Nagar & Bandhurakh Hockey club at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium Jammu.
Dashmesh Hockey Club won the match by 3-2
Prof.Dr Ashutosh Sharma ji , President J&K Olympic Association was invited as the Chief guest of this Exhibition match.
Chief guest addressed the players about the history of olympic moment and current scenario related to olympic sports .
Also he appealed UT government to provide more and more facilities to players of JkUT so that they can also reach to Olympic level.
Also sir appreaciated the efforts of Hockey J&K for conducting continuous Hockey Activities at high speed.
Screening of JKUT WOMEN NATIONAL HOCKEY TEAM FOR NATIONALS. In connection of 13th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2023 to be held at Raurkila Odisha from 27th June to 7th July 2023 , Screening of JKUT Hockey Team was conducted today at KK Hakku Stadium Jammu. Hockey J&K today conducted trials for 13th Hockey India Junior National Men Hockey Championship 2023 which is scheduled to be held on Rourkela Odisha next month. Trials were held at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium Jammu . Total 60 players participated in this trials. Players from various districts of Jammu division participated in the trials. Today was the first day of the trials and tomorrow also trials will be conducted at same venue . Trials for Kashmir division will be conducted at Polo Ground on 30th and 31st of this month.
Khalsa Warriors are the Champions of Senior Hockey Tournament Men. Today was the Final day of Senior Hockey tournament organised by hockey J&K sponsored by State Sports Council at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium Jammu. Final was played between Hiranagar Hockey club & Khalsa warriors , which was won by Khalsa warriors via shootouts. It was a super exicting match . Before shootouts , score was 2-2. In 1st match Dashmesh club nanak nagar defeated MBS Simbal camp by 4-1and in 2nd match Khalsa Warriors defeated Bandu Rakh Hockey club by 7-1 Dr Anitipal Singh (Orthopediation) introduced with the players AS A GUEST. Hockey matches were played both boys and girls under 'My Youth My Pride' program being organised by JKSC.In boys section match was played between Khelo India Hockey Centre Poonch and stadium XI match was won by KI Hockey Centre Poonch by 2-1 goals.
